Zarafa Groupware: Outlook-Client Software Zarafa Client

With this Collax software update the Outlook-Client software for Windows zarafaclient-7.2.4-52167.msi is available. To ensure the auto deployment function for the Zarafa clients with Kopano Groupware it is necessary to update the Zarafa Outlook(tm) clients to 7.2.4 before upgrading the Collax server to version 7.0.2.

Issues Fixed in this Version

Security: ClamAV (32 Bit) lacks Large Files Support

The maximum size of file that can be scanned by ClamAV (32Bit version) is 2GB. If a file bigger than 2GB is downloaded via the web proxy the ClamAV virus scanner will not scan the file. Also the download process will be cancelled.

Hardware: Bootin into GRUB>

With this update the grub files in /boot are replaced because the disk address of ‘stage2’ (or stage 1.5) is stored in the MBR and changing files in /boot may change the location of said file. Older versions of the installer did not create “/boot/grub/” and updating the bootsector also failed. This has caused the boot failure where the system stopped and showed GRUB>. With this update that error is fixed.
